December Meeting ~

Last month the library asked us if we would be interested in making some ornaments to replace their old ones they used to hang on their holiday garland.  They gave me their last surviving ornament as an example...an ornament made by a girl scout from 1994.
It was a simple ornament...a wooden heart painted red with a ribbon and the date.  The girls were excited at the idea that their ornaments might be hanging in the library 20 years from now...and they all sat around calculating how old they would be in 20 years....you mean ill be almost 30!?!  :)
They quickly got to work...and these are the ornaments they created...
Sadly, i did not get any pictures of them hanging in library...but perhaps i will next Christmas!  Didnt they turn out cute!  I think the girls had a great time making them!
