November Meeting ~

Yesterday, our November meeting started out with Jordyn presenting for her Drawing patch.  She shared her artwork with everyone and told them about her process.  Way to go Jordyn...you just earned your Drawing patch!
We spent the rest of the meeting making Veterans Day cards for our local Veterans Luncheon that they have every year at Beaver Meadows.
The girls really got into it and some of them even made two.

It was a fun project for our troop, especially since we had some new girls show up this week, so i hope they had a good time.

Andrea proudly shows off her card, while her little sister Victoria helps pass out crayons to the girls.
Beaver Meadows had the luncheon today and posted several photos of the decorations.  I was so proud to see all the girls artwork displayed on the tables along with cards and letters made from our students at Red Feather.
They even posted several close up shots of the cards and letters, and it was awesome! We thanked Beaver Meadows for putting it all together and for letting us participate in their appreciation lunch, and they responded by letting us know, they will be sending all the cards on to active duty soldiers.  They said, "they were just too wonderful and must be shared.  Please thank all the girl scouts and students.  These cards and letters made all the veterans smile."
And thank you again to all our soldiers for keeping us safe each and every day!
