Yes, im still trying to get caught up on posts! The library put together a class for our girl scouts about orienteering, which was taught by Jill and Skid. Jill and Skid (her dog), work for Search and Rescue, and they taught us some cool stuff about reading a topographical map and a compass.
After the slide show presentation, we went outside to try out our compass skills...
